SUMMARY/OBJECTIVES

The Treasury Management Product Analyst, under general direction, assists with planning, organizing, and directing the development and maintenance of all Treasury and Payment Solutions commercial/business banking products from conceptual stages through product life cycles. This role ensures that the Product Roadmap is updated timely in collaboration with the assigned product managers. Additionally, the Product Analyst prepares a Product Project Plan for all new product launches and enhancements, and ensures it is updated frequently with key milestone dates and deliverables are produced timely.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Support, Sales, IT, Compliance, Legal, and Executive Team to Plan, Design, Develop, Analyze, Test, Train, and ensure accurate billing and profitability of all new product rollouts and product enhancements within area of responsibility.

Analyze client trends and strategic opportunities to align products to these trends.
Analyze industry trends to determine market behaviors and how best to respond as a business.
Translate product partner concepts and business requirements into guidance for functional partners and senior managers. Assist with the strategy and roadmap to improve the sales process and client experience across products within area of responsibility.

  • Support with defining, monitoring, and tracking KPIs and developing concrete point of view on insights to present to leadership. Engage with the Sales Team to define business case and concept validation, as well as to gain insights and identify customer needs. Assist in developing training plans to the Sales and Support Teams of product features, benefits and value proposition.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining the product roadmap in coordination with Product Managers, and clearly communicate goals, milestones, project responsibilities and desired outcomes throughout the Bank. Design communications, marketing materials and presentations for internal and external utilization.

Qualifications, Education, and Certification Requirements

  • Education : Bachelors or Masters or Equivalent experience
  • Experience : 3-5 years previous banking experience preferred (Treasury Management, Commercial Call Center, Operations, Marketing, Financial Product Development and/or Research and Interpretation of Data). Experience with account analysis, Treasury Management products/services and online banking systems preferred.
  • Certifications/Specific Knowledge : MS office expertise (MS Excel, Word, Outlook); Understanding of the technical aspects of Treasury Management products preferred.
  • Excellent written/oral communications skills; Proven success in problem analysis and resolution; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Strong organization skills; Ability to manage multiple detailed work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position in located in a SouthState office.

Telecommuting roles no matter if hybrid or 100% full time telecommuting must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology is delivered.
TRAVEL
Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
