Tasks:
+ Develop new coupling, drive component, and conveyor component products.
+ Generate industry-leading technologies that can be incorporated into Power Transmission products and/or processes.
+ Contribute significantly to successful project results in technology and/or product development by identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative solutions.
+ Create tools that can improve efficiencies throughout the product design process.
+ Ensure all testing is validated and recorded.
+ Support changes to existing products.
+ Identify and communicate industry trends and demands to business team.
+ Lead and train new engineers.
+ Lead and support cost reduction activities.
+ Project management.
+ Use unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks.
+ The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, disciplined and able to perform effectively against clearly defined goals and objectives that directly contribute to profitable growth in the organization.
Requirements:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering AND 5 years of engineering experience ORMaster’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering AND 3 years of engineering experience
*A Master’s Degree in required field = Credit given for 2 years of work experience.*A PhD/Doctorate in required field = Credit given for 3 years of work experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:3+ years’ experience in Application Engineering and/or Product Development Engineering
Proven history of creativity and relentless drive for results
Couplings or belt drive experience
Excellent project management skills
Advanced written and oral communication skills
Entrepreneurial spirit
Lean Six Sigma Green Belt methodology and certification
Exceptional analytical, communication and leadership skillsHighly collaborative, results oriented change agentAbility to work in USA without Visa assistanceStrong analytic skills with an emphasis on critical thinking, root cause analysis, and problem solving
