Primary Talent Partners has a 12 month contract opening for a Product Analyst II with a large Energy client of ours in Charlotte NC.
Pay Range: $50.36 to $55.36 per hour
Hybrid Schedule: At least 3 days a week onsite (Wednesday + 2 additional)
Primary location: Optimist Hall, Charlotte NC (some work at The Plaza as needed)

The Product Analyst position will specifically be supporting a portfolio of efforts around Products and Services. This role will work closely with the Product Owner and be responsible for collaborating with key stakeholders to capture requirements and ensure the business and supporting teams understand what’s needed to be successful. Aspects of the role may include working with analytics, new data elements, marketing teams, and other technology groups to develop holistic solutions to meet our customer and employee needs.
Additionally, this role will help create visibility of important objectives and processes while always keeping the end customer in mind. This individual will be responsible for helping to provide a consistent and enriched experience to our customers by supporting ideation, listening to the voice of the customer, and listening to feedback from the business. The person in this position will be responsible for communicating to internal stakeholders, ensuring key sponsors are kept informed and aware of the work the team is doing and partnering with the broader organization to communicate updates and value being delivered at enterprise level.
This role will focus on two key elements of work:
• Assisting in the One ecommerce effort. Write JIRA stories, engage stakeholders for future improvements and document future requirements.
• Provide support for maintenance on existing apps and create / monitor metrics of use. This includes applications Service Navigator, TOU Enrollment, Solar Estimator and Outage Verification.
Workers at this level solve complex problems with some supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and the ability to work with greater independence. They effectively apply fundamental concepts and procedures to work that is fairly complex and varied. Provides analytical support to Product Owners or Product Managers engaged in the discovery, design and delivery of products.
Responsibilities:
• Assist product owner with user research and story writing
• Ability to perform three or more of the following key activities within a product team: process mapping, value stream mapping, process analysis, process design, methods development, performance standards & metrics development, ROI analysis
• Perform quality assurance tasks
• Support change management functions to ensure successful product implementation Collaborate with product team to understand opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives and potential areas to gain efficiencies or cost savings
• Partner with the product owner to build business visibility through reports, processes, presentations, and other communication channels
• Assist with user research and story writing
• Obtain knowledge of and ability to perform any of the following key activities within a product team: process mapping, value stream mapping, process analysis, process design, methods development, performance standards & metrics development, ROI analysis
• Develop and execute quality assurance plans
• Support change management functions to ensure successful implementation of work
• Collaborate with product team to understand opportunities for continuous improvement initiatives and potential areas to gain efficiencies or cost savings
• Utilize data to help teams develop and implement solutions
• Help keep teams on track by ensuring outcome measurement
• Work with enterprise partners to build empathy and understanding about our audience
• Help consolidate user feedback, user research, employee feedback, etc.
• Must be comfortable interacting and reaching out to various leaders at *** and, at times, managing expectations across multiple business units at once
• Be comfortable thinking quickly on your feet
• Build rapport quickly with key leaders across the company
• Work through ambiguity and be a self -starter who can easily set own deadlines and expectations for accomplishing key deliverables
• Feel comfortable presenting and representing working software in front of large audiences

Required/Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelors degree
• in addition to required degree, eight (2) years related work experience
• In lieu of Bachelors degree(s) AND 2 year(s) related work experience listed above, High School/GED AND 6 year(s) related work experience

Working Conditions
• Office environment mostly, occasional research or analysis conducted in plants or field
• Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite location. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the designated facility.
Specific Requirements
• Bachelor degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Information Management or similar discipline and 2+ years work experience in applicable or related business area.
