As a Product Marketing Manager at Klatch, you’ll be on the frontlines to help lead a fast growing, early-stage startup to scale nationally. You’ll work closely with a seasoned founder and CEO, Lead Engineer, & Learning Team to drive product and growth efforts. In this unique hybrid role, you will be in charge of driving product forward, implementing product sprints and surveying customers to identify biggest paints for the engineering team to solve, while driving the company’s marketing efforts forward. You will be responsible for translating customer-facing challenges and opportunities into tangible product and then back into sales.

You will take and run projects from concept to execution and should have incredible attention to detail, be able to manage up, and keep the team on task. Considerable marketing capability and at least basic design capability (wireframes or mockups) is essential. *3+ years marketing experience required (more experience is highly welcome); with experience running digital ads, email campaigns, and SEO preferred

  • 1 year minimum in extensive project management, product management, product development, or similar role; familiarity with agile / scrum a plus *Basic UX or design experience to be able to develop wireframes or mockup, or spin up quick landing pages and do A/B testing is preferred (programming is not required) *Familiarity with user testing software a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including presentation skills
  • Experience in a highly cross functional, data-driven role
  • Attention to detail while being able to think and analyze holistically and at a high level
  • Strong problem-solving skills and resourcefulness *Startup experience a plus; entrepreneurial spirit is a must

As a Product Marketing Manager you will be entrusted with an incredible amount of responsibility on company-critical initiatives. You will be responsible for heading up both our product and marketing capability and traverse the team to execute rapidly. You’ll work closely with our CEO to align on objectives and identify opportunities with our existing customer segment and new segments, interface with customers to capture pain points of our existing product, and then translate those into the product roadmap, running our well established sprint structure and cadence and working with our Lead Engineer.

On the marketing side, you will spin up or work with contractors and agencies to spin up landing pages, launch paid ads, and continue to drive forward our robust, existing SEO strategy. You’ll craft our message and alongside our CEO, help identify the best messaging channels to communicate product benefits and scale up growth. This is an incredible role for previous or future founders, or people who love to straddle between product and marketing. In an early stage startup, effective marketing requires ability to quickly modify product.
