Position Overview:
We are looking for a talented and passionate Part-Time Product Designer/Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing innovative and durable outdoor gear, particularly backpacks and accessories, and a passion for the outdoors. You will work closely with our product development team to create high-quality products that meet the demands of outdoor adventurers.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the design and development of a range of outdoor products including backpacks, hip belts, shoulder harnesses, chest packs, lumbar packs, duffel bags, and accessories.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure products meet both design and functional requirements.
• Take designs from concept to execution, ensuring they meet high standards of style, durability, and usability.
• Manage and prioritize design projects, keeping the team aligned with deadlines and product goals.
• Use CAD and digital design software to create technical drawings, prototypes, and 3D models.
• Stay informed on the latest trends and innovations in the outdoor industry, especially within backcountry hunting.
• Communicate product ideas clearly and effectively to stakeholders, including production teams and manufacturers.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a product designer or manager, preferably within the outdoor gear industry.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work for outdoor products (backpacks, accessories, and/or technical gear).
• Proficiency in CAD and digital product design software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.).
• A passion for outdoor recreation and an understanding of the specific needs of backcountry hunting.
• Ability to balance creativity with functionality to design products that are both stylish and practical.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a part-time capacity, with flexibility in hours.
