We are seeking a creative, ambitious, and well-rounded individual to join our Product Marketing team where you’ll support the development of our growing Optics division. As an Associate Product Marketing Manager, you will partner with a diverse, cross-functional team to support the long-term brand strategy of Vortex’s Optics lines. The ideal candidate will leverage their creative and entrepreneurial nature with strong organizational and project management skills to help our customer focused organization develop the most advanced, highest quality and most exciting Optics equipment in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

Responsible for product launch strategies and schedules through coordination of cross-functional teamsCollaborate with Creative Design to provide sales with effective selling tools such as product specifications, benefits and features, competitive comparisons, and consumer insightsExecute the creation of product packaging including product manuals and box artworkDrive market research projects to impact key product and marketing plans, including but not limited to, competitive position, purchase drivers, industry trends and technologiesOwn product positioning and messaging that communicate the value, benefits and unique selling pointsMaintain strong product knowledge across all products optics divisionMaintain comprehensive competitive knowledge databaseCreate and maintain comprehensive internal development documentsAssist with product launch strategies through coordination of cross-functional support and collaborationRequirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experienceMinimum 2 years of product marketing experienceLeader, problem solver, and strong team player with an energetic and positive attitudeThrive on high-pressure challenges and deliver high quality work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environmentExcellent project management skillsStrong time management skillsStrong attention to detailHas strong influencing, negotiation and communication skills (written, verbal, presentation)Demonstrated ability to assess business value, time-to-market, and other trade-offs using data, when possible, to prioritize initiatives.Possess a high degree of initiative and motivation; a willingness to help fellow Vortex departments and customersStrong technical aptitude with web-based productivity tools and intermediate to advanced proficiency of the Microsoft Office SuitePreferred Experience and Skills
